Ori excels in Trinidad
A wonderful achievement for Maccabi club athlete Ori Drabkin who represented Australia at the Commonwealth Youth Games held in Trinidad and Tobago last week. He competed in the T38 100m and T38 long jump against athletes with T35, T37 and T38 classifications.
Ori won a silver medal in the 100m with a PB of 13.30s (0.29s better than his previous PB) and only 0.03s behind the first-place Welshman. Ori did equally as well in the long jump winning silver with a distance of 4.62m, an improvement of 57cm to his PB in difficult conditions. The club congratulates Ori on his achievements made possible by his hard work.
