Hi Maccabi Athletic club members and friends,
The Victorian club relay championships were held on Australia Day at Lakeside. The women’s under18 medley team of:

Danielle Axarlis (200m), Abby Gordon (200m) , Skye Edelstein (400m) and Emma de Jong (800m) ran brilliantly and finished an exciting 5th (out of the 11 clubs) in a time of 4 min 22.13 sec.

In the 800m invitational women’s open 800m race held in conjunction with the Zatopek meeting, also on Australia Day, Shanie Landen was outstanding running a season’s best time of 2 min 07.46sec in finishing a fighting 5th in the race.

And it was terrific to see Asher Grodski competing in the 1500m at the Victorian Country Track and Field Championships on the weekend.
